School traffic in Mt. Olive runs smoothly despite courtesy busing elimination
MOUNT OLIVE -- Parents who were bracing themselves for gridlocked back-to-school traffic expected from elimination of courtesy busing were pleasantly surprised Thursday morning when drop-off to Chester M. Stephens Elementary School went smoothly.

Traffic stop leads police to gruesome backseat discovery
NEW BRAUNFELS - A New Braunfels police officer made an unbelievable discovery in the back of a pick-up truck launching a multi-county, multi-agency murder investigation.
